If you haven’t heard of the Australian digital magazine One Thimble Magazine, it’s time to get acquainted!
One Thimble Magazine, Issue 8 – the brainchild of Jen Kennedy, (the link is an affiliate link) isn’t just beautiful to behold. It’s packed full of 12 full PDF patterns, articles, tutorials, and other how-tos that will keep you sewing for months! There are more than 180 pages in this digital magazine.
And my two newest patterns – (here are my affiliate links to the Swing Set Skort and the Butterfly Blouse ) – are in this edition. Keep in mind that all prices are in Australian dollars, so $25 in AUD is about $18.50 currently in USD, and the prices for my individual patterns – $10 and $11 AUD – translate to about $7 and $8 in USD, as of August 2015.
* Please note that all references to One Thimble in this post are affiliate links (meaning I earn a small commission if you decide to make a purchase…thank you so much for your support!!)
Here’s a peek at some of the great PDF patterns you’ll get when you purchase a copy of Issue 8:
Not only are there outfits for boys and girls in Issue 8, but you’ll also get a pattern for a small backpack, a fedora, a felt flower crown, decorative hoops, a quilt and a little desert fox softie. Jen has carefully curated this set of original and new patterns for spring in Australia, but everything is practical for back-to-school season in the United States as well. You’d do well to purchase the entire magazine rather than just the individual patterns, but you have that option as well.
And here’s another look at my Butterfly Blouse and Swing Set Skort combination. Both patterns are drafted in sizes 2-14, so you’ll get a lot of sizes for your growing girl.
If you want to purchase stand-alone copies of my patterns only, you may purchase the Butterfly Blouse by itself…
Or the Swing Set Skort alone as well:
I’m sure you’ll be as impressed with One Thimble Magazine as I am!
