Sewing quilt tops was my form of therapy for many years.
Something about being able to control the fabric….matching seams….hearing the hum of the sewing machine and building something beautiful that I could use later.
This is a great lap quilt pattern for a beginner – large pieces, easy seams, and a quick sew (for a quilt, anyway!).
If you want to sew a little quicker, here are some quicker quilt piecing tips!
But I know what you want to know…
You want to try the free lap quilt pattern, right?
Head over to the Fabricworm blog for the free lap quilt pattern for the Lazy Halfsies quilt.
Don’t you just want to pack up a picnic lunch, grab a fishing pole, and head over to the river?
I know I do!
This quilt and the Feather River fabrics are also perfect for a boy’s room….or a casual throw on your favorite couch….or a quilt for your cabin.
Enjoy sewing up the Lazy Halfsies quilt!
