I can’t believe I’ve approached my first full year of blogging.
But I know one thing: It’s time to celebrate!
Since I know you love tutorials and projects, I decided to gather my sewing and crafting blogging friends and host a 12 Days of Christmas Holiday Blogger Challenge tour where you can visit several blogs – some may be new to you – and try out a whole host of great holiday projects.
Then….once the twelve days are over, you can come back here and vote for your favorite!
The blogger who has the most votes will win $100.
The challenge starts tomorrow, December 1, and runs through December 12. I know I’m stretching the “12 Days of Christmas” idea since it doesn’t really mean the first 12 days of December, but just roll with me on this. 🙂
Thirty bloggers will post a holiday-themed tutorial on their own blogs on different days. And then, every three days, I’ll have a roundup here with photos and links of the different projects.
Because I started this new blog last year during the holiday season, I wanted to share a couple of those first posts…because they’re fun, and for old time’s sake!
This korked ribbon ornament was the first post on the SewMcCool blog, on December 6, 2013, after I transferred posts from an old Blogspot blog:
And this (almost) no-sew quilted ball ornament is a popular project that’s actually quite easy and will amaze your friends, who will think it’s quilted!
I also love this little felt project for a cute way to dress up your wine glasses for New Year’s Eve!
But let’s get on with the celebration, which starts tomorrow! Please visit the blogs below on the dates shown…and don’t forget, I’ll have a roundup of their great posts here every three days.
Voting will begin on December 13 and go through 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern time on December 20. The blogger with the most votes will win $100 – just in time for Christmas!
